
MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. The trade turnover of agro-industrial products between Russia and Armenia in 2024 rose by 16.2% compared to the previous year, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach said during an expanded meeting of the Russian-Armenian Business Council.
According to him, Russian exports to Armenia grew by 9.7%, while imports increased by 21.8%.
“Russia remains Armenia’s primary partner in the structure of agricultural product imports,” the deputy minister emphasized.
“Cooperation in the agricultural sector serves as a powerful driver for the development of the entire spectrum of trade and economic relations between the two countries,” he added.
