MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. Ethiopia sees interest from Russian companies in coffee supplies and will expand exports to Russia, the country’s ambassador to Russia Genet Teshome Jirru told TASS.
“Ethiopia is a place of coffee, and now the government is focused on commercial coffee cultivation, its large-scale production. The possibility of expanding the export market is obvious,” the ambassador said.
“Of course, we have noticed the interest of companies – coffee importers from Russia, who visit Ethiopia and meet with partners to increase the volume of exports to Russian markets. This is an advancement on our part,” the diplomat said.
